Hey,

I'm Kristin Kate.


I am the face behind KKS Photography, about 20 years ago I fell in love with taking photos of everything and anything. I would steal my mom's disposable camera and fill up the film with the most random things. Growing up I competed in 4-H photography, and it was then I realized that I could make something out of it. I exhibited multiple Champion entries year after year, it wasn't until my 21st birthday, I bought myself just a simple Canon camera and the rest is history! Still to this day I drive all over taking photos of anything that caught my eye and gave me a feeling of "that would make an awesome photo".

My photography has taken me all over the Midwest, I have photographed weddings in Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska and South Dakota. I can't wait to see where it takes me next.

Besides weddings, I always seem to be traveling and have my camera with me everywhere I go, I have taken landscape photos from just down the road, all the way to Banff Canada, down to Denver and over to Florida Keys.

Besides travel and wedding photos, I am always excited to do family, senior, dance, headshots, best friend sessions, and meeting new people.

Who is KKS Photography?

I grew up on a farm northeast of Jackson, MN. My family raised crossbred cattle, and we were always found in the barn working on our 4-H show cattle or walking our show goats. Our show cattle usually consisted of several breed steers ranging from Charolais to Shorthorn. Luckily, I got to show alongside my two sisters, and learned from the best.

Thanks to growing up on the farm, that is where my style of photography comes from, I am more of a Rustic, Farm/Ranch, Western vibe, that likes to play on the modern side as well.
